LAGOS AUGUST 10TH (URHOBOTODAY)-Report reaching Urhobotoday, a widely read Nigerian online medium has revealed that a popular Nigeria musician, Majek Fashek has been checked into a rehabilitation home under the sponsorship of Warri based Billionaire and CEO 911 Entertainment , Chief Ayrir Emami.
Report has it that the musician who came to lime light in the early eighties through his single “Send Down the Rain” is responding well to treatment, by seasoned medical experts flown into the country.
This however cannot be independently confirmed by Oshodi.tv as not too long ago, there were reports in the media about Majek Fashek getting checked into a Rehab after fans helped raise $5000 via a GoFundMe page created in his honour by a former member of his band.
However, according to new report, the reggae veteran has been fully checked into a rehabilitation center located in Abuja, following different forms of rallying around by his friends, family and concerned well wishers, who have relentlessly tried to draw the attention of the public to the sorry state of Fashek.
Fashek is reportedly receiving and responding well to treatment, by seasoned medical experts flown into the country, specifically for his speedy treatment, as the singer is scheduled for a come back tour, following the completion of his treatment.
Members of the public have been advised to disregard any individual or group of persons, begging for donations for or behalf of the singer.
