“Getting married to a Nigerian is the best thing that has happened to me. If given the opportunity, I will do it over and over again”.
These were the words of former Miss Masslin Munemo a Zimbabuwan from Mount Pleasant Harare, who on Friday December 28, 2012 tied the knots with, Mr Anselem Oguamanam, at Christ the King Chaplaincy Alvan Iloku College of Education, Shell Camp in Owerri, Imo State Nigeria.
Oguamanam a Zimbabuwan based businessman and former President-General of Imo Community in that country have been living with his heartthrob Masslin for about 14 year before their decision to formalise the union.

An elated Mrs Oguamanam described the day as her happiest, adding that she will encourage other single Zimbabuwan ladies to marry Nigerian men.

“My husband is caring, soft spoken and hard-working. He knows how to make his woman happy and loved. At first it was difficult but with time things started falling into shape.
“I will encourage my sisters and friends to marry a Nigerian Igbo man because they know how to take care of their women”, she said.
She said she met her husband when he came to supply goods to one of his customers who has an office in her father’s shopping complex in Harare.
“I did not know he was looking at me, he had interest in me. He collected my telephone number from a close friend and called me to express his interest and that was how we started”, Mrs Oguamanam explained.

He said, “I cannot break it down but she is every good thing put together. Initially it was not wanting her for keeps but when we got close and began to know each other better, I know she was the one for me. We were in courtship for about three to four years before we finally decided to get married. What is happening here today is the official handing over in the presence of God”.
