LAGOS AUGUST 21ST (URHOBOTODAY)-The Minority Leader of the House of Representatives and member representing Isoko Federal Constituency, Hon Leo Ogor has described the death of Justice James Omo-Agege as an exit of a legal luminary.
In a condolence message through his Media Aide, Akpodhoma Mike to the family of Omo-Agege following the passage of the patriarch of the family, Chief Justice James Omo-Agege, who was the second Chief Judge of Delta State, Ogor said he was deeply saddened to hear about the loss of Chief James Omo-Agege, the pioneer Chairman of Delta State Independent Electoral Commission, DSIEC.
“Undoubtedly, the loss of a loved one leaves a huge vacuum in the lives of the bereaved. The legal luminary’s death is being felt not only by the Omo-Agege family, the entire state but those who knew him while he was alive.
“It’s unfortunate we lost him few days to the silver jubilee of our dear state, he was a fearless judge who carried out his duties professionally. No doubt the exit of this legal icon will be missed by all. He contributed his quota to humanity within the opportunity available to him.
“On behalf of the people of Isoko Federal Constituency and my family, I mourn the exit of a legal luminary. His patriotic dedication to serving his people in various capacities will be greatly missed.
“My sincere sympathy goes to the Omo-Agege family, most especially my fellow federal parliamentarian, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District.”
While expressing deep sympathy to the family, the lawmaker prayed that God will give him the comfort he deserves.
