Delta State to Name Asaba Stadium after Keshi, to Honour Him with State Burial

LAGOS JUNE 23RD (URHOBOTODAY)-Delta State Commissioner for Sports, Tony Okowa has revealed that the ‘under-construction’ Stadium in Asaba would be named after former Super Eagles Coach Stephen Keshi as way of immortalising the late legend.
Okowa said the government will honour Stephen Keshi with a state burial which has been been fixed for July 27th-29th.2016.
News of Keshi’s death; earlier this month, was greeted with grief and National mourning with tributes pouring in globally.
He passed on June 7, in Benin City Edo state of a suspected Cardiac Arrest.
