An Abuja based lawyer and 2015 Delta State Governorship Aspirant under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) , Christmas Akpodiete, Esq, celebrated the dedication of his new born daughter, Queen Oghenerukevwe Christmas-Akpodiete at the State House Presidential Villa Chapel Abuja.
Present at the ceremony were President Goodluck Jonathan, his Mother, Mama Eunice Jonathan, former Deputy Governor of Edo State and Chief of staff to the President, Chief Mike Ogiadomhe. former Managing Director of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Chief Emmanuel Agwariavwodo, Member House of Reps, Hon Ndidi Elumelu, Hon. Justice Ifeanyinwa of the Court of Appeal Abuja and Hon Justice Chudi Nwokorie of the Federal High Court Abuja, Chief Francis Okumagba, former Executive Director, Oceanic Bank and Otumba Olaniyi Akere among others

Akpodiete who is the Managing Director of Oceanic Petroleum & Energy Development Company Ltd, has reasons to thank God and celebrate the dedicate of his beautiful daughter at the Aso Rock Chapel.
At a reception which followed after the Church service, Akpodiete thanked God for blessing his family with their beautiful daughter, adding that, “God had showed his family kindness at last after four miscarriages”.

It would be recalled that his wife gave birth peacefully without complications at a New York hospital last November.
His elated wife, Dr Mrs. Edith Akpodiete, also thank God for his faithfulness, just as she expressed sincere gratitude to the first family, their friends and well wishers who came to celebrate with them and pray God to grant them journey mercies home.

Prince Christmas Akpodiete, Esq, is the National Coordinator, United Front for President Jonathan & Sambo, is also a Delta State PDP Governorship aspirant come 2015 election.
His Father, Late Chief Dr Ekuo Akpodiete of blessed memory, was a renown Lawyer, Legal icon of Grey’s Inn London and of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
In the second Republic his father was a strong political ally of Late Chief Obafemi Awolowo, Chief Dr Edwin Clark and Senator David Dafinone, among others.
