N’Delta Graduates Slams Asari Dokubo’s Spokesman, Rex Anighoro over Call for Sack of Deziena

Progress Omo-Agege leading other Niger Delta gruaduates in protest against Rex Ekiugbo and his group over request for sack of Deziane

LAGOS APRIL 8TH (URHOBOTODAY)-Group under the aegis of Graduate Association of Niger Delta (GAND) has condemned the recent protest led by the spokesperson of Alhaji Mujahid Dokubo Asari led Niger Delta People Salvation Front (NDPSF), Comrade Rex Ekiugbo Anighoro calling for the sack of Petroleum Minister Deziani Allison-Madueke.
Reacting to the protest which was described as myopic, selfish and an “Agabagebe dance” done for the interest of his (Anighoro) master, the group in a press statement charged Anighoro to be careful with the way and manner he drags ethnic groups into his selfish political protest.

The statement signed by the National President of GAND, Comrade Progress Omo-Agege made available to URHOBOTODAY an online medium said, “In as much as we are in a democratic system of government where there is freedom of association, there was no time that, we the Urhobos came together with Anighoro on his stand on Diezani which him and his cohorts are now pursuing as a personal vendetta.
“We are warning him to desist from using Urhobo for illicit self aggrandizement of him and his Asari led group. UPU remains an apex body of the Urhobo nation and it has warned individuals as published in various newspapers to cease using the Urhobo name for individual political upliftment.”
Speaking further, Omo-Agege who is also an Urhobo youth leader maintained, “As regards the call for the sack of Diezani, we Urhobo youths strongly disassociate ourselves from such protest, she is one of us as a Niger Deltan and we would condone such insult on her as relate to President Goodluck Jonathan. Anything short of that, we would not rigmarole in the mud using the ‘pull her down’ syndrome as being employed by Anighoro and his cohorts.”
