Military Raid Tompolo’s Village as N’Delta Avengers Continue with Destruction of Pipeline Installations

LAGOS MAY 28TH (URHOBOTODAY)-The search for members of the Niger Delta Avengers (NDA) responsible for the upsurge in vandalism of oil and gas installations has gone further awry as members of the Joint Military Task Force (JTF) are said to have invaded Gbaramatu kingdom at about 2:00 a.m., Saturday, allegedly beating up everyone including women children and students in sight.
Many of them are said to be taking refuge in the woods as of the time of filing this report…
Meanwhile, Niger Delta Avengers have again blown up pipelines in the Niger Delta.
The destruction of the pipelines was said to have been carried out at about 2:15am on Saturday.
According to a tweet on the Twitter handle of the NDA, the affected pipelines are Nembe 1, 2 and 3 Brass to Bonny Trunk Line.
The pipelines are operated by two multinational companies, Shell Petroleum Development Company and Agip Oil.
The tweet, at 6:30am on Saturday, said: “At About 2:15am on Saturday the @NDAvengers blow up Nembe 1, 2 and 3 Brass to Bonny Trunk Line belonging to Agip and Shell.”
The group vowed further: “Something Big is About to Happen.”

The Nigerian Army and Navy should do the right thing. Random molestation of people is not what they are being paid to do, but to defend the nation.
In defending the nation, the Armed forces should put to use the Directorate of Military Intelligence and tackle the real guys. These women are not the avengers neither are the children. The truth is that Niger Deltans are not in support of these miscreants called ND Avengers. Please, what are they avenging? The billions put in one person’s hand that will no longer flow in. Please what?
Money given to NDDC was administered by Niger Deltans. Money given to Niger Delta Ministry was also under the supervision of a Niger Deltan. Past Governors of Niger Delta states were all sons of the soil? What is being avenged? Niger Delta Avengers should look for those who mismanaged the monies meant for the development of Niger Delta.
President Jonathan should be asked to give account of how monies for the region was spent and also be given the assignment to get ND Avengers to stop all these madness.
