Warri North Crisis: Orubebe Rallies Support for Uduaghan’s Peace Effort

LAGOS JULY 19TH (URHOBOTODAY)-Minister of the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs Elder Godsday Orubebe has appealed to the people of Delta State to support the Governor of Delta State Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan in his effort to maintain peace and order in the State.
He advised the people of Delta State to throw their weight behind Uduaghan in his effort to achieve the State Government three points agenda of Human Capital Development, Infrastructures and Security.

Elder Godsday Orubebe made the call on Sunday in Agbaroh, Delta State during a short visit with and party faithfuls after Church service at Liberate Church, Ekpan, Warri to Chief John Okugbe Orido’s country home.
Chief Orido, a stalwart of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in both Delta Central Senatorial Zone, Delta State and national level with large followership is a strong supporter of Elder Godsday Orubebe.
Although it was a short visit, Chief Orido, his family and party faithfuls received the Honourable Minister with prayers and blessings including the observation of the traditional breaking of kolanuts.
In his welcome address, Orido promised to reach out to his large followers in Delta Central Senatorial in particular and Delta State at large to support Orubebe’s 2015 Delta State governorship bid.
In his remark, the Honourable Minister who expressed gratitude for the show of love and support by the people of Delta Central advised , “Everybody should love God because He is the reason for everything. And as you know my Team is moved by God’s directives.
“All of you should support the Governor of Delta State Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan in his efforts to achieve his three points agenda of Human Capital Investment, Infrastructures and Security. If You love me you must love and support Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan and also pray for him and his family.
“The ijaws and isekeris should come together and make peace as the fight going on between them is useless and meaningless. If they come together as one to make peace, anything they say Nigeria will be adhere to it.”
On the point of departure, the Minister promised to visit other districts in Delta State to give account of his stewardship as Minister of the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs. The communities the Minister is expected to visit are Isoko, Ukuani, Oshimili, Aniocha, Ika, Itsekiri and Urhobo Areas.
