LAGOS SEPTEMBER 11TH (URHOBOTODAY)-A group known as the Urhobo Youths Consultative Forum (UYCF) in Delta State has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to appoint Engr. Ogheneovo Imoyi Omene as Petroleum Minister. They made this assertion recently during a rally held in the Niger Delta region, demanding that Nigerians of Urhobo extraction should be appointed into prominent positions in the Buhari’s administration.
Speaking on behalf of the group, National President, Comrade Achoja Blessing and the Secretary, Comrade Bernard drummed support for Omene, to emerge the minister. The youth leaders noted that Omene, has over the year’s demonstrated supports and leadership by contributing his quota to the advancement of not only the Urhobo nation but also to the Nigerian state.
