Urhobo Youth Leader Slams N’Delta Minister for Non-Performance, Insists on Urhobo Gov

LAGOS OCTOBER 6TH (URHOBOTODAY)-Urhobo Youth Leader and Spokeman of Niger Delta People Salvation Front (NDPSF), Comrade Rex Ekiugbo Anighoro has slammed Minister of the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs, Dr Steve Oru for non-performance ever since he assumed the office some months ago.
The Urhobo radical youth leader also called on Urhobo youths to support an Urhobo Delta State governorship candidate in 2015 general election, insisting that Urhobo governor for Delta State in 2015 is not negotiable.
Anighoro who made this declaration over the weekend during an event organized by Urhobo People Forum (UPF), a facebook group of all Urhobo sons and daughters at Ekiugbo town hall, Ughelli North L.G.A, Delta state, argued that Steve Oru had not made any positive impact on the Urhobo nation since he was sworn in as a minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on Wednesday, July 9, 2014, describing his non-performance as an error that must be corrected by Urhobo youths.
He mainatained that the days when youths fold their hands and watch things go wrong were over, threatening that it is either Steve Oru conveys a meeting with the youths to discuss the way forward for Urhobo nation within the next three weeks, or he would lead a massive protest of Urhobo youths against him.
Anighoro argued that if truly Steve Oru was a good leader, he would have called all Urhobo youths together to thank them and discuss with them on how best to move the Urhobo nation to a greater height.
The youth leader who enjoined all Urhobo youths to support only an Urhobo candidate in the 2015 general election insisted that an Urhobo governors for Delta State in 2015 is not negotiateable. He urged all Urhobo youths to work assiduously to ensure that an Urhobo become the next governor of the state, adding that the interest of Urhobo is paramount and above any other individual interest.
His words “an Urhobo son or daughter must become the next governor of Delta state. We must all join hands together to ensure that we achieve this dream in 2015. We are not going to negotiate with any ethnic group, we want the next governor of Delta testa to come from Urhobo land and the next governor will come from Urhobo land.”
