Unbelievable: Security Agents Arrest ‘Pregnant Men’ In Asaba

Asaba vigilante security agents have arrested six “Pregnant men” who disguised as beggars to solicit for arms in Asaba and its environs.
The vigilante group member, Emeka Igwele who confirmed the arrest of the “Pregnant men”, disclosed that upon interrogation, the purported beggars allegedly confessed to have been banished from a village in Imo State, where they have allegedly killed several persons in their nocturnal coven, but in an attempt to kill more backfired, thereby making them pregnant.

He said that the suspects have been handed over to the Police for further investigation, adding that they recovered about N30, 000 from them.
Sources said the influx of ‘Pregnant men’ who mainly speak Igbo language mainly, has threatened the relative peace across Asaba and its environs with the residents fearing that the unknown may befall them, even as they called on the law enforcement agents to check their activities.
It would be recalled that the Police in the last three months arrested some fake blind beggars who hoodwink unsuspecting members of the public, after the day’s work they would retire to their rented hotel room(s) where they would be seen discussing freely with their helpers, with their eyes wide opened.
LEADERSHIP FRIDAY checks revealed that the ‘ pregnant men’ beggars are assisted by little children who interpret their Igbo language to English language as they visit shop to shop, people asking for assistant to enable them carry operation on their pregnancies.
Between the ages of 21 and 23, these bewitched “Pregnant men” glaringly show their pregnancies to their unsuspecting helpers who in most cases assist them with some money to keep their hopes alive.
