LAGOS MARCH 15TH(URHOBOTODAY)- Yenagoa – The Federal Government College, Imiringi in Ogbia council Area of president Goodluck Jonathan’s home state, of Bayelsa, has been shut down, following an outbreak of cholera in the school.
African Examiner gathered that already, no fewer than eleven students of the school have been hospitalised at the Federal Medical Centre Yenagoa, the Balyesa state capital for emergency medical attention.

As at the time of filling this report, our Correspondent learnt that no death has been recorded so far, but parents are already trooping to the school to pick their wards for fear of uncertainty.
However, Bayelsa State Ministry of health is yet to come out with an official statement on the development, just as effort to speak with the Health Commissioner on the issue was unsuccessful, as he was said to have traveled outside the state for an official engagement.
