Online Medium, Urhobotoday to Change Name to NigerNewsline

LAGOS MAY 16TH (URHOBOTODAY)-The Management of Labalaba International Nigeria Limited, the publisher of Urhobotoday an online news medium has disclosed that the name of the widely read online news medium URHOBOTODAY will be change to NigerNewsline as from May 19th, 2014 to give room for global recognition of the popular website.
Making the pronouncement in a press conference in Lagos recently, the Managing Director of Labalaba International and Publisher of Urhobotoday, Mr Oghenekevwe Laba said the change of name of the popular website which had caught the online network and social media spell bound with latest, hot and juicy exhilarating stories to NigerNewsline became necessary in view of the clamour of its numerous readers for change of name with global recognition.
Promising his teeming readers all over the world that the content of the online production would be better and richer than as it is in Urhobotoday, Laba who is a veteran journalist with many years of journalist experience spanning through several newspapers said the change of name of the online medium to NigerNewsline will not lose value in term of news break, juicy and quality content which they are well known for, rather it would add more value to his production style and information disermination.
“The change of name has become necessary because the name Urhobotoday had kind of limited our scope within Urhobo community of Delta State despite its global in information dissemination,” Laba who is a graduate of University of Benin and Times Journalism Institute (TJI), Surulere, Lagos revealed.
The veteran journalist assured his teeming Urhobo and Delta state readers who have been following him on the social media of face book and twitters that their interest which is upper most would be more represented in the new development as a hot and juicy information on that area would be posted in their various face book and twitter pages.
“Our readers are therefore advise to logon to www.nigernewsline.com as from May 19th, 2014 to access the website. Furthermore, the template of the website will be broaden to give room for many columns. There will also be YouTube column for showing television broadcast of newscast of events and opportunity for our readers to subscribe for frequent news supply free of charge to their email addresses,” Laba explained.
