Omo-Agege Rejects Delta Central Senatorial Result, Heads To Tribunal

LAGOS APRIL 28TH (URHOBOTODAY)-The Delta State Chapter of Labour Party, LP, have rejected the Delta Central senatorial district result announced by the Independent National Election on Sunday April 26, 2015.
The party have equally vowed to challenge the district’s result in the electoral tribunal and are very confident eclaiming their lost mandate.
The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the Delta Central Senatorial district election, Mr Ighoyota Amori, was declared winner of the election having polled a total of 116, 723 valid votes.
Speaking to newsmen after hearing the declaration of the result, The Labour Party, LP candidate, Obaisi Ovie Omo-Agege vowed to challenge the outcome of the election in court.
Omo-Agege alleged that the entire electoral exercise in the district was marred with
irregularities.
