NUJ to Picket THISDAY Newspaper over Nine Months Unpaid Salary

LAGOS JULY 7TH (URHOBOTODAY)-The Nigeria Union of Journalists has announced its intention to picket ThisDay newspaper over unpaid nine months salary.
The NUJ, through its Lagos State Chairman, Deji Elumoye, said the picketing will take place on Tuesday.
The Union will be at the headquarters of the newspaper at 35, Creek Road, Apapa, Lagos State.
The action will commence by 8am.
The newspaper, owned by Nduka Obaigbena, has become notorious for owing staff their entitlements.
