Minister Enjoins Urhobos Resident in Ghana to Maintain Peace, Unity

LAGOS JULY 18TH (URHOBOTODAY)-Greater Accra Minister Hon. Nii Laryea Agbo Joseph has appealed to Urhobos resident in Ghana to preach peace and unity to Nigerian stakeholders resident in Ghana.
The Minister who gave the advise during the visit of member of Urhobo Progress Union (Ghana chapter) to the Senior Chief of Nungua, Nii Botwe Laryea II (Nungua Dzaasetse) as part of the activities marking the celebration of Kpledzoo festival of the people of Nungua advised that it is when there is peace and unity that the many social amenities in Ghana would be made available to them.

He reminded members of Union to know that Ghana and Nigeria are one, adding that they should not see themselves as stranger but one family.
His wife and family who were very delighted with the visit gave the entire union a hospitable treat and refreshment, coupled with Nigerian music.
Nii Botwe Laryea 11 (Nungua Dzaasetse) later wished the Urhobo chiefs, elders and the people of Urhobo Progress Union (U.P.U) a peaceful stay in Ghana, adding that he is ready and willing to assist them any time they call on him.
The President of UPU in Ghana, Chief Emmanuel Igbudu expressed gratitude for the warm reception. He assured the chief of continued support of members of UPU resident in Ghana.
Other members of the executive council who were present on the visit were the Vice President Dr. Benjamin Ofebe, the Secretary Mr. Edafe Onojetha, the P.R.O Hon David Ukueku, the Provost, Mr. Roland Ogono and the Coordinator Hon. Udebor Anthony.
The entire U.P.U Executive Council and its members kindly wish the chief and his entire cabinet a happy and peaceful Kpledzoo festival.
