Announcing arrival of Drum Beat Magazine


LAGOS APRIL 27TH (URHOBOTODAY)-Special Adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan on Social Development, Mrs Sarah Pane, Orodje of Okpe Kingdom, His Royal Majesty Major-General Mujakperuo (RTD), Chief (Mrs) Onokpasa and Chief Dominic Oneya among others are expected to attend the launch of Drum Beat magazine in Lagos. A popular Nigeria Comedian Gordons is expected to anchor the event and crack the ribs of guests with hilarious jokes.
A press statement signed by the Publisher of Drum Beat Magazine, Ms Elsie Ejorogu-Reed made available to Urhobotoday, an online medium disclosed that the magazine which will feature both national and international events would be launched on May 3, 2014 by 7.00 pm at the NiteShift Coliseum, 34, Salvation Road, Opebi, Ikeja, Lagos.
Ejorogu-Reed who is also the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), Deltawomen said Drum Beat Magazine which would hit the news stand on May 5th, 2014 would not only have both national and international value, it would also represent qualitative reporting, it would also add to value to lifestyle magazine market.
In her words, “We are bringing the best of both worlds (African and Western) in Drum Beat Magazine so that it will be empowering and yet entertaining. It will include informative and entertaining sections such as interviews, environment, a career guide, relationships, health and living, fashion and beauty, entertainment and lifestyle and so on.
“I hereby stress that it is not just a local magazine. It will add a qualitative value to the lifestyle magazine market in Nigeria and beyond. I want to use Drumbeat to celebrate the positive sides of Nigeria, its people and events. It will also feature places within Nigeria and around the world.”
