President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has congratulated His Royal Majesty, Ovie R. L. Ogbon Ogoni, Olomu 1, the Ohworode of Olomu Kingdom, Delta State, on his 96th birthday and the 25th anniversary of his coronation being celebrated Saturday, March 30.
In a letter of felicitation to the Ohworode, President Jonathan prayed that ‘the legacy of peace, harmony, prosperity and steadfast progress which the Olomu Kingdom has witnessed during your reign will endure perpetually even as Almighty God blesses you with robust health and many more years of fulfillment’.
‘The ideals of uncommon patriotism, unassailable piety, and sterling leadership qualities which you epitomize are worthy traits which will continue to inspire us in our national transformation efforts,’ he stated.
A statement by Mr Reuben Abati, presidential spokesman, said President Jonathan prayed for God’s continued protection and prosperity for the Ohworode and the people of the Olomu Kingdom.
