Explosion Rocks Kano Again

LAGOS NOVEMBER 14TH (URHOBOTODAY)-An explosion has occurred in Kano, Kano State again.
The bomb went off on Friday evening in Hotoro, near the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation mega filling station in the town.
The area had in the past also been attacked by members of the dreaded sect, Boko Haram.
Though details of Friday’s explosion were still sketchy, a source in the town confirmed it.

Gunshots were said to have followed the explosion.
Security operatives of the Joint Task Force have moved to the area.
An eyewitness told the News Agency of Nigeria that the incident occurred at 7.20pm, adding that many people buying fuel at the station sustained injuries.
The witness said there were sporadic gunshots after the explosion, which threw the area into confusion and for many residents to run for safety.
The spokesman of the JTF, Captain Eze Ekechukwu, confirmed the incident.
