LAGOS NOVEMBER 26TH (NEWSRANGERS)-A business magnate and APC Delta Central Senatorial District candidate for the 2019 general elections, Olorogun O’tega Emerhor, OON, the Urhukpe of Evwreni Kingdom has just added a feather to his cap. Celebrating the birthday bash recently at his palatial villa in Evwreni town, Ughelli North LGA of Delta state, Olorogun Emerhor who was filled with joy used the occasion to thank his APC members, political fans, business associates and friends for the unflinching support they gave to him during the imbroglio that would have torn apart the great political party of change, APC in Delta state as orchestrated by some mischief makers in the party.
“I thank God for adding another fruitful year to my years. It’s just the grace of God upon my life. I want to also use this occasion to thank all APC members across the country that saw the truth and stood by it, even till this very moment. I thank Delta state APC under the able leadership of our chairman, Chief Cyril Ogodo for being there for me and the party. I thank every person gathered here tonight to join me and my family to celebrate this very moment of my life. Happy celebrations to all of you for your love and care!” Olorogun Emerhor said.
In his goodwill message to the Delta state APC leader and celebrant, the Evwreni Ward APC chairman, Comrade Sunday Egboya said, “Our leader is worthy of celebration for his political gallantry and clear vision for the party especially in Delta state here. This occasion is to appreciate God for adding another year to the life of our candidate. Olorogun O’tega Emerhor is truly the “Urhukpe”, meaning light of the entire universe. Wherever he is, he brings light to those in darkness.
“To us Evwreni people, our son, Olorogun Emerhor is a saviour sent by God to deliver the land from many years of political neglect by the PDP sixteen years of mis-rule and corruption in Delta state. We can’t really count all the fine legacies of this great philanthropist and entrepreneur. We join every person present here to thank God for our dear father for the free gift of good health and sound mind given to him by God Almighty. On behalf of APC, Evwreni Ward, I say many happy returns to our winning candidate.”
For the president general of Evwreni Clan Improvement Union, the administrative organ of Evwreni Kingdom, Chief (Hon.) Victor Ohare have this to say, “God in his infinite mercies had just added another wonderful and fruitful year to our father and this is why we are here this night to celebrate the moment with him and his lovely family. In fact, a time like this need to be celebrated in a man’s life. Olorogun O’tega Emerhor is a worthy Evwreni son that every boy or girl in the entire Urhobo land is aspiring to emulate.”
When asked to enumerate some of the virtues that endeared the great politician to him, the Ushurhe of Evwreni Kingdom said, “Our father is a man of many fine legacies worthy of emulation by many politicians and businessmen and women of today. Some of his virtues that I can really count upon are generosity, humility, loyalty, love, simplicity, philanthropy and many other ones. I want to advice our youths to take this kind of person as their role model in life by learning all these virtues. Therefore, on behalf of the entire Evwreni Kingdom, I congratulate our father for this wonderful celebration and wish him many fruitful years ahead in Jesus name!” The Evwreni president general prayed.
Others who spoke during the birthday bash were just pouring encomium and praises on the celebrant for his great achievements in life. Guests were later treated to a sumptuous reception of drinking and eating. A life musical band was on stage treating guests to mixed sets of musical lyrics.
