DESOPADEC: Okolugbo Commissions Several Projects, Promises to Complete Umuebu Phase 1 Road Soonest (PICS)

LAGOS OCTOBER 29TH (URHOBOTODAY) -Commissioner representing the people of Ndokwa Nation at the Board of the Delta State Oil Producing Area Development Commission, (DESOPADEC) Sir. Kenny Okolugbo last week commissioned no fewer than four completed projects in his constituency.

The commissioned projects are Umuebu solar powered energy street light, Okuzu solar powered energy street light Obiaruku, 40,000 water project powered by solar energy Eziokpor, and Umuaja Street Solar Energy light project among others.
While commissioning the street light project at Umuebu, Okolugbo assured the people that the Obiaruku – Umuebu, road project would soon be completed, just as he enjoined them not to be discouraged over the delay but attributed it to the prevalent bad weather for now, adding that although funding is still a cause of concern.
The Commissioner informed the people in the various communities he visited that the government of Dr Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan and PDP is out to develop Ukwuani as witnessed by the various ongoing projects and commissioned ones by DESOPADEC.

He attributed the fast rate of development in the area to encouragement and concern of the Governor for the people of the Local Government Area.
Okolugbo maintained that apart from the recent commissioning, his administration had commissioned several other completed projects which included but not limited to ICT Centre at Obiaruku Grammar School and the purported transformation of Obiaruku Grammar School to a State Model School come January, 2015.
The Commissioner who used the opportunity to sensitize those in his constituency to vote for PDP in the council election said there will b no room for any of the candidates to fail considering what the Governor has done for Ukwuani despite losing both the re-run and April 2011 Elections in Ukwuani.

He charged them to come out in droves on the 25th Day of October 2014 to cast their vote en mass. He assured that the uncommon development being experienced by the people in terms of infrastructural and human capital development would continue.
Comrade Gloria Okolugbo thanked all the people for their communities out in numbers to receive them. The final grand rally held at Very Rev Proff Emmanuel Okolugbo’s residence was filled with over five thousand people mainly from ward 9 & 10 of Obiaruku where Mrs Benedicta Osakunih Izuegbu the Chairmanship candidate promised to continue in the footstep of his Excellency at the Local Government Level if voted into Office.

Gabriel Uti, the immediate Vice Chairman of Ukwuani Transistion Transition committee described Okolugbo’s achievements “God sent one, ” while a cross section of the people expressed the joy of government presence in their community.
The commissioner was accompanied during the commissioning exercise by Mr. Stanley Odali, a House of Assembly aspirant, Chief Chinonye Dafe, Hon. Gloria Okolugbo, the Delta State Commissioner for Special Duty, and party chieftains in the LGA..
