DESOPADEC Commissioner, Okolugbo Commissions Two Blocks of Six Classrooms at Ukuani

A block of six classrooms with Principal and Staff room at Umuebu Secondray School, in Ukuani LGA, built and commission by DESOPADEC


LAGOS JUNE 5TH (URHOBOTODAY)-The quest by the Delta State government, led by Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan to finish strong received a boast on Wednesday, as Commissioner Representing Ndokwa North, in the board of Delta State Oil Producing Development Agency, DESOPADEC, an interventionist agency, Hon Ken Okolugbo commissioned two blocks of six classrooms at Eziokpor Mixed Secondary School and Umuebu Secondary School, both in Ukuani Local Government Area of Delta State.
Speaking during the event, Hon. Ken Okolugbo , charged the teachers to ensure that the product of the schools match the quality of infrastructure provided by the government.
He also called on the Ndokwa nation to continue to support the state government to enable it do more for them, adding that it would have not been possible to commission about 35 development projects, in Ndokwa nation without the support of the State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan.
He also informed the people of Eziokpor that approval has also been giving for the construction of a block of six classrooms, at the Eziokpor Primary School and another block of six classrooms with principal and principal quarters at the Eziokpor Mixed Secondary School, and N22million water project which will be commissioned before December.
Commissioner representing Ughelli North and Ethiope East LGA on the board of DESOPADEC, RT (Hon.) Christopher Obiuwevbi Ominimini who was part of the commissioning exercise hailed the quality the quality of job put into the construction of the classroom blocks, just as he advised the people to use it judiciously.
While commending DESOPADEC and the state government, Chief Ben Akezuwe, thanked the agency for approving other projects for execution and assured the commission the people of Eziokpor will continue to support the laudable programmes of the Uduaghan’s led administration in Delta State.
Also at and Umuebu Secondary School where the board commissioned a block of six classroom with principal and staff office, the community spokesman, Chief Egunatu commended the commission saying that they have not seen the type of project in any other community in the state, noting that the Uduaghan’s government is doing very well.
