The conferment of Chieftaincy title by Olomu Monarch, Ohworode of Olomu Kingdom HRM Ogboni Oghoro 1 on Ijaw Leader Chief Edwin Clark has received accolade from Commissioner for DESOPADEC Chief Chris Obiuwevb i (Alias Ominimini).
Speaking to newsmen yesterday at the country home of E. K. Clark after he was conferred with the title of ‘Eni’ which means greater stride, Obiuwevbi said the chieftaincy title conferred on E. K. Clark showed that his leadership quality not just only within the Ijaw nation, but also cover Urhoboland.

“The conferment of the title is to tell you that Chief E.K.Clark is also from Urhobo nation. He has traced his history to have come from Olomu in Urhobo nation, to have come from Ujevwen at the Orhuwarien axis of Urhobo and Ohwowa , Ogor to be specific in Urhobo. So that tells you that he is also an Urhoboman .
“This title known as Eni which means a giant stride or bigger achievement was conferred on him because of his love for truthfulness, good administration and management of public fund. Some of his age group are no more active, but you can see Clark keep on working every day just for the benefit of the children yet unborn. So the man has a lot to do with the sustainability of this environment, Obiuwevhi pointed out.
Praying to God to give him long life so as to continue with his service to humanity, Obiuwevbi said, “My wish for him is that God should give him good health for him to live for many years ahead so that we the helpless in the society, the poor in the society and the weak in the society can continue to benefit from his good leadership.”
