Delta State New Year Baby Delivers at Warri Central Hospital

As individuals and the people of Delta State join the rest of the world to crossover to 2013, a New Year baby with six other boys were delivered at the Warri Central Hospital in the oil rich city of Warri, Delta State.
The baby boy who weight 3.4kg was safely delivered by 1.32am to the family of Pastor Enoch and Mrs. Healing Odibo, based in Warri but a native of Ekiugbo in Ughelli South Local Government Area of the state.

The wife of the State Governor, Deaconess Roli Uduaghan who was at the hospital yesterday to celebrate with the children and mothers gave them gift items and word of advice and prayers for the bundle of joy from God.
While presenting gift items to the New Year baby and other babies, she thanked God for safe delivery and prayed that God will protect each and everyone of them and close the eyes of their enemies.
She said that 2013 is for only those that are in God’s boat and also believe in Him will survive thereby enjoined each and everyone of them to pray for God grace to live right so that the storm that will come will not consume them.

According to Mrs. Uduaghan “This time as many that have Jesus in their boat will not sink.”

She used the occasion to advice all parents to always pay attention to their children pointing that God has given them those children and they should not abandon them to the detriment of their work or business.

Speaking to URHOBOTODAY, the 26 year old mother of the new year baby, Mrs. Healing Odibo, thanked God for making her to deliver safely like the Hebrew woman.

She also thanked the State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan for the free maternal health care, she enjoyed at the hospital having her ante-natal clinic and delivery free of charge.

Pastor Enoch Odibo, husband of Mrs. Healing Odibo said he feel great and full of joy having the new baby of the year, he thanked the State Governor and God to guide and strengthen him with the kind gesture he has been doing to help women in the state.
Also speaking, Dr. Ikechukwu Nwaeze who was among the medical team that deliver the baby said they were able to monitor and deliver the baby safely with other six children all were boys throughout.
The Zonal Medical Director, Dr. Kingsley Agholor who took the Governor’s wife round the ward said all the delivery of the six children were successful.
