Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of Delta Central Police Command, Mr Awosola Awotide has disclosed that Delta Central of Delta State is presently unsafe Criminals, just as he warned criminals in Ughelli and its environs to take their trade elsewhere as the Police would make the area unsafe for them henceforth.
According to Awotinde “the area is now too hot for criminals to show their faces or carry out their criminal activities any longer”.
The ACP disclosed that, new security strategies has been put in place to tackle the high wave of criminality and cult activities that have swept across the area in recent times.
Awotinde stated that, his command has beefed up security in the area adding that, new methods are been applied by the police to ensure security of lives and property noting that men of the command are keen to restoring peace and security in the area.
He enjoined residents not to withhold any information from the police to enable them and other security outfit do their job effectively, warning that any one found with explosives and fire arms will be made to face the music.

Speaking further, Mr. Awotinde called on residents to report any suspicious movement of persons to the police for their own safety.
