Minister of Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs, Elder Godsday Orubebe goes spiritual

Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Elder Godsdey Orubebe, Sunday, June 2nd, 2013 said his destiny was in God’s hand, saying that it was only God that has the capacity to consume man.
Speaking in parable, Orubebe who spoke as a guest speaker during the mid-year thanksgiving service of Christ Foundation Ministry, Sapele said; “All we need to live is God. Anybody out fighting to consume you is swimming against the tide.”

Insisting that “God is the Alpha and Omega”, he said; “We perish for lack of knowledge. God is still God; He changeth not.” He added that thanksgiving was supposed to be on daily basis.
Although the Minster did not make reference to his governorship ambition in the sermon, but it was glaring that his speech had an under tone and it depends on the public to interpret it.
The minister who spoke for about an hour added, “It is only God that can take us to the promise land.” He stressed further that, “Man’s enemies are members of his household.”
Expressing confidence that their enemies would be swallowed in the red sea, he urged the people to sign contract with God and they shall be safe. He noted that; “the Egyptians you see today, you shall see no more.”
According to him, “Whoever stands on the way of God’s children will be crutched by God.” “God is the giver of power,” he further emphasized.
Meanwhile, the founder of the church, Mr. Michael Diden said politics started from heaven.
Diden who represents Itsekiri nation on the board of the State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, said it was God’s domineering that made man to worship him instead of devil.
He said he founded the church to evangelize the word of God and to do charity work and urged well placed Nigerians to assist the less privilege in the society.
On how he copes with the work of God and politics, he said; “politics and Christianity are the same because politics started from heaven between God and devil. It was the domineering of God that makes us to be serving him today.”
