Delta 2015: Group Rallies Urhobo Nation for Okowa Governorship Ambition

As the race for 2015 general election is fast approaching, group under the aegis of Dr Okowa Support Group for Delta Governor in 2015 had appealed to indigenes of Urhobo extraction in Delta State to support Senator Ifeanyi Okowa in his ambition to become Delta State Governor in 2015.
The Coordinator of the group, Mr. Blessing Omomuyovwi Kokarhaye while addressing newsmen in Warri, Delta State recently, expressed the group choice of Okowa as the best governorship candidate for Delta State, adding that if he becomes Delta State Governor there would be effective development and empowerment in the state.
The group describe Okowa as an experienced, humble and most credible candidate among the all the those contesting to occupy the seat.
Enumerating the achievements of Okowa, Blessing Kokarhaye recalled that Okowa as Chairman of Senate Committee on Health sponsored the National Health Bill which was passed into law and initiated an empowerment plan that cut across Delta State, adding that the Urhobo nation formed the pivoted plan of Okowa project if elected governor of Delta State.
He urged Urhobo nation to put tribal sentiment apart and vote for Okowa in Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) primaries and the main election of 2015.
