Aziza, Uduaghan, Others to Attend UPU Convention, 2m Pounds Urhobo House Fund Raising in UK


LAGOS AUGUST 8TH (URHOBOTODAY)-President General of Urhobo Progress Union (UPU), Chief (Major-General ) Patrick Aziza (RTD) and Delta State Governor, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan are among the important dignitaries expected to attend the 7th Annual International Convention of UPU and 2 million Pounds Fund Raising ceremony of Urhobo House in United Kingdom (UK).
Other d ignitories expected at the two day event are Deputy Governor of Delta State, Professor Amos Utuama, Nigeria High Commissioner in UK, Dr Dalhatu Sarki Tafilda, Senator Emmanuel Aguariavbodo, Obaisi Ovie Omo-Agege, Chief O’Tega Omerhor, Chief Fred Majemite, Chief John Oguma, Chief Wilson Oki, Chief Albert Akpomudje (SAN), Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, Elder Godsday Orubebe, Chief Peter Nwaoboshi,Hon Ben Ighakpa, Engr. Mathew Edevbie, Chief Ighoyota Amori, Hon Moses Ogbe, Chief Chris Umukoro and Hon Henry Ofa.
Royal fathers expected at the event are the Orodje of Okpe, HRM Major General Mujakperuo (RTD), Ovie of Uvwie HRM Emmanuel Sideso, Ovie of Agbon HRM Mike Omeru, HRM Lucky Ararile, Ovie of Agbarha, HRM Richard Ogheneruogaga and Ovie of Ughelli HRM Wilson Oharisi among others
Others dignitaries also expected at the event are Chief Great Ogboru, Rt (Hon) Victor Ochei, Senator James Manager, Chief Leo Akpofure (SAN), Chief Peter Aragba, Hon Godwin Elumelu, Chief Peter Asagba, Chief Solomon Ahwinahwin, members of the Delta House of Assembly and all Delta State Local Government Chairmen.
A statement made available to Urhobotoday disclosed that day one of the event which will hold on August 22nd, 2014 by 5.00 pm at Londom Dockland Hiltons Hotels, 265 Rotherhite Street, SE16 5HW will involve organization of symposium and dinner. The statement added that admission is fifty Pounds per guest with limited spaces available.
“Day two which involve convention and fund raising night will hold on August 23rd, 2014, by 4.pm prompt at Worshipville, 640 Ripple Road, Barking IG11 0SN. Admission to this event is free,” the statement explained.
The statement appealed to sons, daughters and well-wishers of Urhobo nation to attend the event enmass.
