LAGOS JUNE 29TH (URHOBOTODAY)-Urhobo Youth Leader, Olorogun (Barr) Movudu Jaro Egbo has declared his intention to contest for the position of member of Delta State House of Assembly in 2015 general election representing Ughelli North Constituency II.
Jaro Egbo Personal Assistant (P.A) to Delta Governor, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan on Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) confided on Urhobotoday, an online medium, that he would be contesting in the coming election for the position of member of Delta State House of Assembly representing Ughelli North Constotuency II.

Coming out with a theme, “Ready to Roll DTHA 2015” Jaro Egbo who has changed the lives of many Urhobo youths for good explained that with his experience in the political arena and his leadership qualities, he is in a good position to attract development to Ughelli Constituency II as their representative in Delta State House of Assembly.
He said, if elected, he would provide jobs for the unemployed, empowered the people and set up machinery for the social economic development of the people of his constituency particular and Delta State in general.
For those who did not know him, his tract records as a politician and administrators speak volume. Jaro Omovudu Egbo, is one man to watch as an emerging leader in the political arena, Urhobo nation and society at large. In his political activities over the years, he has taken it as a point of duty to at all times eschew trouble and violence in tandem with the peace initiative of the state government.
His priority is helping others at the point of need and has been playing pivotal roles in the political development of the state and Urhobo nation without stepping on toes.
Going by his political antecedent, it is interesting to note that Jaro started his political career in the days of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and later became the National Secretary of the Defunct Urhobo Political Forum (UPF) without blemish.
Jaro Omovudu Egbo was also at a time, Special Assistant to Chief Ovie Omo-Agege who was then Commissioner, Special Duties (Government House, Asaba) and was never found wanting in loyalty and discharge of his duties.
With such rising profile on a clean slate, he later became an Aid to the Amiable Governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan.
As a young hard-working and visionary man, the Ughelli born traditional Chief and lawyer turned politician is certainly interested in leaving an enduring legacy, worthy of emulation for his children, followers and the society at large if elected as member of Delta State House of Assembly.
No wonder in recognition of his sterling leadership qualities, the much respected Ovie of Ughelli kingdom, HRM Oharisi III found him worthy of a prestigious Chieftaincy title in the kingdom.
In all sense of honesty, Jaro Egbo can be said to have triggered into the world of politics as helper with burning desire to use his God-giving wisdom to serve his people. More so, as a lawyer to help in the defense of the common man and the unjustly oppressed in the society, anytime the need arises.
Honesty, Jaro Egbo is all out to transform lives of the less privileged with his wealth of experience and there is no doubt that his leadership qualities have earned him lot of commendations over the years even outside Urhobo nation.
Jaro Egbo has been doing all these in his own private capacity. If he were in an elective office, the story would have been wonderful. This is the reason why he should be elected into the House of Assembly so as to create better live for the people.
