LAGOS AUGUST 11TH (URHOBOTODAY)-President Muhammadu Buhari has derailed drastically from his electoral promises.
Those clapping proudly for this administration can continue till eternity.
It is not surprising that hitherto enthusiastic supporters of the president are now distancing themselves from the infamy that is going on.

As a Nigerian, I am deeply troubled about the future of our country.
With the way things are going politically, socially and economically, I fear for the next generation.
This is not the change that we voted for. The change had since been hijacked by a vicious and unpatriotic cabal.
Some of us are constantly faced with reminders of the unflinching support we gave to Buhari’s candidacy during the last presidential election.
We are being reminded daily of the modest contributions we made towards the emergence of this administration.
As perilous as the situation is, my faith in president Buhari is not completely eroded.
But I pray and earnestly hope that a day will not come that I will publicly and totally denounce Buhari and his government.
But if the president stubbornly refuses to retrace his steps and salvage his evaporating goodwill, that day is inevitable.
It is needless to enumerate the sins of Buhari and his government, they speak for themselves.
I have written about some of his infractions in the past.
It must however be noted that the corruption mascot Goodluck Jonathan was not a choice in 2015.
Jonathan’s regime was a cancer that had to be removed. We voted and supported Buhari because that was the right thing to do in 2015.
However, some of us will rather die than remain silent in the face of the terrible and atrocious things that are going on under Buhari.
