Delta DPP Chairman Dismisses Uduaghan’s Scorecard …Says He Performed only in Pages of Newspapers

…Says He Performed only in Pages of Newspapers
Delta State Chairman of the Democratic People’s Party, Tony Ezeagwu, has rated Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan’s administration low in the provision of social amenities.
Ezeagwu said, “The Uduaghan-led administration had performed 100 per cent only on pages of newspapers and on television.”
Ezeagwu, who spoke with our correspondent on the telephone on Monday, noted that given the huge allocations to the state, the governor had not “performed”.
Citing the inauguration of projects during the Democracy Day celebration, Ezeagwu said the ceremony was a “charade” to cover up the waste in the state.

He said, “Where in the world do people light up streets with lights being powered by a generator? Uduaghan should tell Deltans.”
The chairman wondered how the governor would account for the diesel being consumed since the inception of the street lights programme.
He also alleged that millions of naira had been squandered on installing and positioning wide television screens at strategic places in Asaba, Warri, Sapele, Ughelli, Oleh, Ozoro and other towns in the state.
