Delta: Native Doctors Prepare Charms For Kidnap Informants in Sapele

Palpable fear of the unknown is currently hanging in the air at the Sapele Township in Delta, following a discovery that native doctors in the area aide kidnapping by preparing charms for minors, for the pouroose of giving information to kidnappers that operate in the area.
Nine such informants, who are mainly minors, the state Police Spokesman ASP Lucky Uyabeme said, are members of four different dreaded cult groups that have been acting as informants to kidnappers and assassins in the community.

In the last three weeks, LEADERSHIP RIDAY reliably gathered that their modus operandi is to woo their victims with the prepared charms made into gold rings and touch them with the rings: a process that will make the unexpected victims’ to lose their memories.
The native doctors were said to have prepared the charms for the minors between N25,000 and N30,000.
But ASP Uyebeme disclosed that the name suspects were arrested around Koko near Warri last Tuesday on a tip-off, adding that upon interrogation, they confessed to have been working with charms prepared for them by some native doctors who are presently on the run.
According to him, the minors aged between 10 and 16 years, have also confessed to be members of different secret cults operating across the state, adding that they are presently helping the Police at the state CID for further investigation.
