Tragedy struck in the heart of Warri Tuesday May 28 when a secondary school dropout by the name Israel stabbed his elder sister, Tejiri to death over the elder sister’s refusal to give him a cooked Indomie noodles.
Report says the incident occurred at about 9am at No. 4 Obire Street off Cemetery road close to the Warri Stadium when Israel who dropped out of Essi College, Warri stabbed his sister with a knife on her neck for refusing to give him a share of the Indomie noodles she was eating. It was not immediately clear if Tejiri prepared the Indomie with her money because residents of the area who Our Reporter spoke to were not willing to comment on the issue, but Fresh Angle gathered that Tejiri who was immediately rushed to the Warri Central Hospital after she was stabbed could not survive following the severe loss of blood before she was attended to by medics at the hospital.
A resident in the area who spoke to Fresh Angle on condition of anonymity said Israel’s action is sequel to Tejiri allegedly using a razor blade on him. Though details of the unfortunate incident were still sketchy as at press time, another source in the area said efforts by youths in the area to trace Israel was unsuccessful as he immediately disappeared on noticing the extent of his action.
Fresh Angle scooped that the father of both Israel and Tejiri is presently on crutches following an accident he had some time ago, while their mother is said to be a petty trader.
