DPP Members in Warri Decamp to PDP Enmass …Decampees promise to work with Uduaghan

WARRI – FEW Days after about 2,000 members of the Democratic Peoples Party, DPP, decamped to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Ughelli, the Delta South Director of Campaign Organisation, Chief David Pere along with hundreds of his supporters has decamped to the PDP in Warri South West, with a promise to join hands with the Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan’s administration.
Chief Pere along with his member dumped the DPP in a gathering at Ogbe-Ijoh, Delta State weekend and commended niger Delta Leader, Chief E.K. Clark for facilitating the process.

According to Chief Pere, “It is my pleasure to welcome you to this Occasion of my formal declaration for the PDP. After due consultation with my supporters in Warri South West LGA, Our National Leader, Chief (Dr) E.K. Clark, OFR, CON, I have decided to decamp with all my supporters from the DPP to the PDP.
“Therefore, I have resigned my membership of the DPP including my position as the Director, Delta South of the DPP Campaign Organisation, Delta State.
“We decided to declare for the PDP to join hands with Our National Leader, Chief E.K. Clark, Our Governor, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan and Mr President, Dr Goodluck Jonathan in contributing to the development of the Niger Delta, our Dear State, Local Government Area and Communities.
“I want to use this opportunity to thank Our National Leader Chief E. K. Clark and our Governor, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan for making today a reality. We promise to be loyal members of the party and work towards the success of the party in the forthcoming local government elections and other future elections. As a former Chairman of Warri South West LGA under the umbrella of the PDP, I am very happy to be back to the PDP.”
