Thug of former Delta Governor, Chief James Ibori and self acclaimed billionaire Mr Ayiri Emami was alleged to have been lavishly spending Ibori’s loot in cash and property kept in possession of for safe keeping for Ibori who sentenced to 13 years imprisonment for money laundery offence in United Kingdom.
Ayiri who owns fleets of car and a favourite yellow Hummer jeep who was said to have been given Ibori’s loot for safe keeping during the former Governor’s embattled period, before he escaped to Dubai and eventually extradited to the United Kingdom where he is presently serving a Jail sentence and is expected to return home in 12years time was alleged to have been spending the former governor’s recklessly.
Ayiri’s spending is in excess as allege, as he throws money on the streets in any city he visits. He brings musical artist to his home town regularly and sign contract with any one that finds favour with him, paying them huge sum of amount.
Late last year, he was said to have visited Marine hotel, Igbokoda, Ondo state own by the Peoples Democratic Party Governorship candidate in the last Ondo elections, Mr Olushola Oke and paid for all the rooms in the hotel.
While at the hotel, he was said to be asking residents of Igbokoda, who trooped to the hotel on hearing his generosity, if they could sing. Those who sang smiled home with huge sums.
He is also alleged of spending money with no regards for earning.
It is believed by Deltans who knew the deal entered between him and Ibori that the days ahead for him are evil, as trouble will certainly arise between the both on return of Chief James Ibori from Prison, as by that time he would squandered all the money Ibori gave him for safe keeping.
