LAGOS OCTOBER 20TH (URHOBOTODAY)-The leadership of the vocal Delta North Political Movement (DNPM) has raised an alarm over what it called an orchestrated campaign of calumny against the person and office of Dr. Mrs. Ngozi Juliet Olejeme by those it referred to as paid propagandist ahead of the 2015 Governorship Election in Delta State.
In a strongly worded communiqué signed by Ogbuefi Franklin Osademe and Comrade Ossai Chukwuka, President and Secretary of Delta North Political Movement respectively said “we have uncovered a well
coordinated and evil orchestrated campaign aimed at tarnishing the well built image of our daughter and in frontline Governorship Aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State, Dr.
(Mrs.) Ngozi Juliet Olejeme, an administrator per excellent and an exceptional manager of both human and material resources who has not only done Delta North proud, Delta State and has consistently shown a shining light at the National and International level.”
Without missing words, we have discovered that already some syndicated stories has started flooding the net with the sole intention of blackmailing and carrying out unnecessary media campaign forgetting
that political campaign by any serious minded aspirants should issued oriented and not personality oriented.
We have followed very closely the rise to the peak of this our well cultured, well educated and an administrator par excellent daughter, Dr. (Mrs.) Ngozi Juliet Olejeme and we have no doubt whatsoever in our mind that all this campaign of calumny are nothing but politically motivated to dint her hard earned reputation that predates these current political experiment.
It is an incontrovertible fact that Dr. Ngozi Juliet Olejeme has in the past twenty years single handedly sponsored the educational training of over 300 less privileged children under the Olejeme Foundation just as the foundation has also consistently on yearly basis awarded micro-credit facilities to hundreds of widows across the twenty-five local government council of Delta State.
The U and I Foundation also operated by her has consistently be in the forefront for support for orphanages and less privilege children, these well over two decade philanthropic gesture can never be tied to the 2015 Governorship Election.
Both the Olejeme and U and I Foundations are today household names in Delta State that are now rallying support, raising funds on behalf of their principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ngozi Juliet Olejeme to actualize her
governorship dream come 2015.
Her services to the Nigeria nation are verifiable especially her exceptional leadership performance at the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) an agency that was nearly moribund with less than
twenty staff as at 2009 when she took over and today can boast of more than 3,000 staff with offices established in all state capitals and reputable business cities across the country.
Dr. (Mrs.) Olejeme has not only distinguished herself in leadership but has treaded very courageously and gallantly in the political world dominated by men and hence should be encouraged by all lovers of peace and those that has respect for womanhood.
In our previous communiqué, where we wholeheartedly endorse Dr. (Mrs.) Ngozi Juliet Olejeme as our sole governorship for Delta North in 2015 we said then that our decision to carry out this study is informed by the need to reduce the rancor amongst the growing list of over twenty (20) aspirants in the Delta North Senatorial District alone.
The communiqué then said, we have observed that an average of two aspirants per week are declaring intentions to contest the 2015 governorship election from our dear Delta North Senatorial District
and we know that with such internal wrangling and rancor, the Delta North may loose the governorship seat again if our house is not properly put in shape.
The Movement said, having critically reviewed all the aspirants from the Delta North Senatorial District, we are proud to announce to Deltans our acceptance and presentation of a world class administrator, a tested technocrat and a diligent manager of both human and material resources, DR. NGOZI JULIET OLEJEME, Executive Chairman of the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF).
The Movement concluded that if elected the governor of Delta State come 2015, Dr. Ngozi Juliet Olejeme will use her world class contact and federal connections to attract massive developmental stride to the state of Delta to the glory of men and women.
