Malaysian Airplane with 295 Passengers Shot Down in Ukraine
LAGOS JULY 17TH (URHOBOTODAY)-A Malaysian airline Boeing 777-200ER passenger airplane carrying 295 people has been shot down by Russian separatist across the airspace of Gabrovo in Eastern Ukraine. A statement issued by the Press secretary to the President of Ukraine, described the incidence as a terrorist act and blamed the Russians for the incidence.
However, the Russians has denied any involvement in the ghastly incidence.
The Boeing 777 left Amsterdam at 12.15 p.m. and was to arrive at Kuala Lumpur International Airport at 6.10 a.m. Friday. It had 280 passengers and 15crew onboard and all are believed to have died.
