Ogboru, Omo-Agege Pay Solidiarity Visit to UPU, Vow to Reconcile Aggrieved Members

LAGOS FEBRUARY 19TH (URHOBOTODAY)-Delta State Labour Party (LP) Governorship candidate, Chief Ovadje Ogboru and Labour Party Delta Central Senatorial Candidate, Obaisi Ovie Omo-Agege have paid solidiarity and thank you visit to the executive of Urhobo Progress Union (UPU) for endorsing them as the candidate of Urhobos in the forth coming general election.
Addressing newsmen after a meeting with the leadership of UPU, the duo said their mission was to thank the union for deeming it fit for their party (LP) to fight PDP in the forthcoming Delta State governorship election, adding that they would assist in reconciling the four aggrieved UPU members who felt they had other choice.
According the duo, “UPU is our house and the door is open for all Urhobo people. We are here to show solidarity with the leadership of UPU which the Urhobo people gave their mandate when the election was conducted the last time at Uvwiamuge.
“Beyond showing solidarity, we are also here to thank UPU for a job well done in making a pronunciation that Urhobo must be governor of Delta State, and making the final declaration that Chief Great Ogboru should be the sole candidate of Urhobo nation. Urhobo people are united and we are going to enter this election with united people and we will surely win,”
