LAGOS AUGUST 1ST (URHOBOTODAY)-Revelation has emerged on how former Director General of NIMASA, Patrick Akpobolokemi, Ex-militant leader, Chief Government Ekpemupolo, otherwise known as Tompolo and current Delta State Deputy Governor, Barr. Kingsley Otuaro allegedly shared a whooping sum of N3bn meant for the payment for acquisition of the permanent site of Nigerian Maritime University, NMU, Okerenkoko in Warri South –West Local Government Area, Delta State.

Mr Johnny Michael, a leader of Okerenkoko who made the allegation said the N3bn could be part of the N13bn which Akpobolokemi is being quizzed by the Economic and Financial Crime Comission (EFCC).
Michael Johnny who claimed he was arrested and detained for two months in Federal Prisons, Warri over a protest he led against the sharing of the money, revealed that present Delta State Deputy Governor, Barr. Kingsley Otuaro midwife the alleged sharing of the 3 billion naira as Attorney to the community, Okerenkoko as at then.

According to him, three billion naira was purportedly released to the community by the sacked NIMASA DG through Barr. Kingsley Otuaro and one billion naira was shared to Tompolo, adding that out of one billion naira meant for other members of the community, only N350 million was purportedly released.
He also claimed that Ex- NIMASA DG allegedly got a share of one billion naira, even as he could not ascertain if the remaining 10 billion naira was further released by the Patrick Akpobolokemi led NIMASA.
The All Progressives Congress, APC Chieftain further revealed that a total of 22 contractors are currently handling construction work at the Nigerian Maritime University, NMU site and the only “ Indigenous contractor among the 22 is Tompolo’s cousin, Kestin Pondi”.
