LAGOS JANUARY 19TH (URHOBOTODAY)-In line with this trend, Heritage Plus an Abuja based organization has decided to build the first On Campus hostel at the college of Education, Agbor, Delta State to help expedite the growth of education in Delta State.
The hostel which is going to be the first On Campus hostel on any government owned tertiary institution in Ikaland, according to the managing Director of the firm, Mr Robinson Uhrorho was his initiative to correct the anomaly of students staying off campus which expose then to moral decadence and the deterioration standard of Education,
According to Uhrorho, Heritage Plus has a vision of creating a standard template for modeling excellence and recognizing distinguished achievers and cooperate bodies in different fields of human endeavors. He said the organization in line with its vision and after a meticulous scrutiny of great achievers in the society has decided to name the edifice of an hostel after Pa Arthur Uzoma Okowa, a great educator and father of the delta state governor, the contributions and achievements of Pa Author Uzoma Okowa to the development of the Ikaland and Nigeria is unprecedented.
He noted that Pa Okowa as a retired pedagogical expert is also being honored for being the first Deltans to father a democratically elected Governor while still alive since inception of the state.
“Heritage Plus apart from immortalizing the name of the father of the delta state Governor, is also building a legacy of determination and academic zeal which must be emulated by the Youths.
The epic breaking foundation laying ceremony which is currently in the pipeline (26th of feb 2016)lis to enable Nigerians inspired by the antecedence of the great patriarch to participate in this momentous event,” he said.
