LAGOS JULY 21ST (URHOBOTODAY)-Climate Change Campaigner, Mr. Sunny Onuesoke has commended Delta State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan in his recent inauguration of the Delta School Climate Change Club (DSCCC).
In a statement prepared by Mr Obukohwo Martins made available to Urhobotoday, Onuesoke noted that the launch of the club is a right step in the right direction.
The statement disclosed that Onuesoke who spoke to Journalists after the meeting of Stakeholders Forum on Climate Change organised by the Delta State Government at the Event Centre in Asaba, Delta State on Tuesday commended the Governor for initiating the idea of climate change club to sensitise people and create awareness about its effect and how to prevent it.
“I want to ultimately commend the foresight of our amiable Governor who in his wealth of experience has initiated the noble idea of Climate Change Club to sensitize people and create awareness about the effects and how to prevent it. Our schools are the first and best place to start this campaign. I appreciate His Excellency for taking this path of action,” the statement disclosed.
In the same vein, the Environmentalist commended all Stakeholders present at the meeting, just as he advised that the opportunity envisaged in the meeting could be achieved through synergy
