‘When you rule your community very well by imbibing the habit of peaceful existence in them, even when you are sleeping good things will be coming your way. It is God that bring good ruler in the person of HRM Ararire AVM Lucky to Umiaghwa and the whole Abraka. If not for the person of the Monarch this project DESOPADEC is inaugurating today would not have been possible. That is why it is good that all the people of Abraka, Umiaghwa and Umieghen should pray for the progress of the leadership of the Monarch.
“I am appealing to the indigenes of other Urhobo communities to learn from you on your peaceful way of living. I have discovered that you have a good King and there will be a lot of development in Abraka in his period of his reign. Pray that he lives long for Abraka and Urhobo people,” he advised.
Applauding Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan’s government for releasing funds to DESOPADEC for the development of oil producing areas, Ominimini maintained that the new members of the Board of DESOPADEC have discovered that it would be good for those who came from oil producing areas to benefit from the funds.

“The Government of Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan has been doing very well. It has been providing light, school and good roads for the people. Whatever you want from government apply for it through writing and continuous reminder. It is not through fighting and you will surely get it
“Frankly speaking, the people of oil producing area should expect more provision of government projects. Dr Emmanuel Udughan has taught every one that the bottom- top approach method of development is better. What you are seeing today is as a result of the evidence of bottom top approach. The approach is people oriented. We conducted meetings with the people and they told us what they wanted and that is what we are giving to them,” Ominimini who donated buses to Ethiope-East and Ughelli North HOSTCOM executive and facilitated the training of no fewer than fifty people in the training of computer appreciation recently affirmed.
Speaking on the standard of the project, Ominimini disclosed that the project is MDG standard with a powerful installed solar energy to supply energy for twenty four hours without any reason to be afraid of power failure.

The water resavoir

“This project is MDG standard. It is not just a water scheme. It will last for many years. The solar panel that is installed is a very powerful ware. Today people talk of incessant nature of electricity. Whether there is electricity or not, they will continue to get water because it is solar powered,” he disclosed.
He assured indigenes of the community that they have made provision for the extension of pipes from the water reservoir to their home so as to bring water closer to them.
“In fact in this 2013 budget that is with the House of Assembly, we have made provision for the extension of pipes. Therefore, whether you are in the street or your compound we are going to extend the pipes to that area,” he assured.
Expressing his gratitude to the Delta State Governor, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan and DESOPADEC for providing the water project to his community, HRM Ararire AVM Lucky said the community would benefit from the water project for a very long time, adding that the government should continue to remember them in future.
“Certainly, the people of Umweghen has a direct evidence of what DESOPDEC is doing. However, we need more of this development. We are very backward as far as provisions of infrastructures are concern. My appeal to my people is that they should continue to support the government and be protective of what they have. It is not easy having this kind of project in any community. So whatever you are giving by the government take possession seriously, protect and maintain it,” he advised.
