Okowa Empowers Forty Urhobo Widows

LAGOS JUNE 5TH (URHOBOTODAY)-Delta State Governor, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa recently empowered no fewer than forty Urhobo widows in Agbarho, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.
Speaking at the occasion, the Special Assistant to the governor on Special Duties, Government House, Asaba, Pastor Kess Nomuoja and Mrs Ochuko Udi who is the coordinator of the empowerment programme in Ughelli North Local Government charged the widows to make judicious use of the money given to them.
They equally advised them to make good use of the free health scheme programme by visiting the designated hospital to check their health status regularly.
They advised them to take advantage of the ongoing voters registration exercise by getting themselves registered so that they can vote during the 2019 general election.

Speaking to newsmen, one of the widows, Mrs Rose Onokpasa thanked Governor Ifeani Okowa for the cash gift and the free health scheme programme. She promised to make good use of the financial gifts…

Solomon Otarighobe, Chief (Mrs) Grace Ikolo, Chief George Ushere, Mrs Ruth Timothy, Hon. First Ogimagbor, Ejoke Ovuerhi and Solomon Okotie among others.
