“Name it. Is it economic achievements, rule of law, human right, education and age among others? President Goodluck Jonathan is better position than Buhari,” Onuesoke who is the Country Director of Network for Good Governance (N4GG) declared.
Onuesoke disclosed that Nigerians have experienced both leaders on the issue of governance and evidence are there to show that Goodluck Jonathan, despite the itches of Boko Haram and oppositions obstacles had performed better than Buhari, will still perform more better than and he is best position to occupy the seat.
He appealed to Nigerians to shine their eyes and cast their votes for Jonathan whom he said had provided infrastructures development, railway lines, good schools, good roads, regular electricity supply and had developed the economy among other achievements.
“Has Nigerians forgotten so soon how they suffered under Buhari’s government. There was no good road, no water, the economy was in shamble and Nigerians were worst of as they were sentenced for life for minor offences. Have we forgotten about the two journalists that were locked up for years by Buhari? Have we forgotten about those youths who were publicly executed for allegedly trafficking drugs? We do not want to go back to the era of jungle justice,” Onuesoke stated, just as he called on everyone to ensure they cast their votes wisely for Jonathan so that he could complete the transformational agenda which he had started.
According to him, “As at when Jonathan came in the roads which were very bad were restructured. He revived the health sector. There is no fuel queue. He built more schools which include secondary, Alumajari schools and Universities. The railway lines and the airports were brought back to life. Our GDP rose to $503 billion Dollars making Nigeria the largest economy in Africa”
For there to be continuity, he appealed to Nigerians to cast their votes for Jonathan, adding that Jonathan second term would turn their lives around for the best.
