Panic in Benue State University as Hyena Escape From Zoo
LAGOS FEBRUARY 8TH (URHOBOTODAY)-There’s serious panic within the environs of Benue State University, Makurdi as a hyena has allegedly escape from a zoo located within the institution.
As at afternoon today, security men and policemen were seen patrolling the nooks and crannies of the university with the instruction to shoot at sight of the hyena.
Speaking to Tatafonaija.com correspondent this evening several of the students said the entire university community is living in fear as reading in the class rooms has become difficult for them.
“We heard a hyena has escaped. Everybody is worried and in fear because we haven’t heard whether they have captured it or not.” he said.
As at press time, 10:33 PM there has been no news of the wild animal being captured.
