Mba, Okoro, RRS Commander Moved as IGP Redeploys 27 ACPs

LAGOS JULY 9TH (URHOBOTODAY)-Former Force Public Relations Officer, Frank Mba, has returned to the Lagos State Police Command.
This followed the redeployment of 27 Assistant Commissioners of Police across the nation by the Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase.
In the redeployment, which occurred last week, the Lagos State Police Command recorded the highest number of affected officers.
Four ACPs were transferred out of the state and four new ones moved in.
Mba is among the four new ones.

Emmanuel Ngwu, formerly in charge of operations in the command, has now been transferred to Force Headquarters, Abuja, while Julius Okoro takes over.
Dan Okoro, formerly in charge of Area ‘E’ Police Command, Festac, Lagos, has been moved to Akure, Ondo State, while Mba takes over.
Tunde Adagunduro, in charge of Area F Command, has now been transferred to Owerri, Imo State, as Edward Ajogu moves in.MPatrick Longe, Area H Commander, has been transferred to Awka in Anambra State, while Aliyu Haruna takes over his office.
The former Commander of the Lagos State Special Anti-Crime outfit, the Rapid Response Squad, ACP Hakeem Odumosu, is now the new Area Commander in charge of Western Port, Port Authority Police Command Lagos.
The postings take immediate effect.
Mba takes over the leadership of Area E Command just as he returns from a top executive course at Harvard University and a three months intensive training at the Federal Bureau Investigation National Academy, Virginia, USA.
Mba is expected to bring his versatility to bear in improving the security of lives and property in his new Area Command.
Mba, a lawyer, also holds a Master’s Degree in Law from the University of Dundee, Scotland, UK.
Ajogu, a former Personal Assistant to one of the retired IGPs and former Area Commander, Akure, is known as a highly cerebral officer.
Ajogu holds a BSc Degree in Political Science from University of Ife and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from another top Nigerian University.
The Lagos State Police spokesman, Ken Nwosu, who confirmed these latest developments in the command, said: “These new Area Commanders will surely add value to the quality of policing in the state.”
