LAGOS JUNE 30TH (URHOBOTODAY)-A former President of the Senate, David Mark, has been confirmed as validly elected by the National Assembly Elections Petitions Tribunal.
Mark floored his opponent and candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the Benue South Senatorial District election, Daniel Onjeh at the tribunal on Thursday.
The Tribunal struck out Onjeh’s petition against Mark’s election for being statute barred.
Mark has been in the Senate since the return of Nigeria to democratic rule in 1999.
