LAGOS SEPTEMBER 16TH (URHOBOTODAY)-Investigative journalist, Ahmed Saldika, has countered the statement of President Muhammadu Buhari, on the Chibok girls abduction.
Buhari, while speaking on Tuesday while in France, had stated that the Federal Government had began talks with Boko Haram, to get back the abducted Chibok girls.
The President, however, said that the insurgents were demanding in exchange, one of their leaders, who is a bomb-making expert.
However, Saldika said on his Twitter page that Boko Haram is not considering going into negotiations with the Nigerian government.
Saldika said President Buhari was misinformed about the situation, adding that Boko Haram insurgents prefer to ‘ go to paradise’ than negotiate.
