LAGOS JULY 10TH (URHOBOTODAY)-Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Chieftain, Chief Sunny Onuesoke has faulted statement credited to Edo State Governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomole in which he was alleged to have accused PDP of destroying Nigeria in its sixteen years administration of the country.
Speaking to group of journalists in Kaduna, Kaduna state, the PDP strong man who observed that it appears Oshiomole was elected by Edo people to only criticize PDP and do nothing else, noted that the Governor had wasted eight years in the state criticizing PDP sixteen years administration without for once proffering any solution.
He reminded Oshiomole that the problem of Nigeria did not start sixteen years ago as he claimed, adding that he should .stop deceiving and confusing Nigerians instead of fixing the challenges in Edo state.
Wondering how long would Oshiomole and his APC cohorts continue to blame PDP instead of fulfilling their promises to the electorate, Onuesoke argued that nothing good had come out from APC government except hatred, vindictiveness, tribal leadership, loss of jobs, unemployment, hardships, vengeance, deception, blame game and propaganda.
He queried that assuming Nigeria began to exist from 1999 as Oshiomole made Nigerians to believe with his statement, why can’t APC government under President Muhammadu Buhari improve on what former President Goodluck Jonathan left behind?
Urging Oshiomole to apologize to Nigerians for his deception, Onuesoke observed , “ It took PDP sixteen years to make a dollar to N197, but it took APC just one year to make a dollar N350. It took PDP sixteen years to destroy Nigeria, but it took APC just one year to massacre, dismantle, kill and bury Nigeria.
“.It took PDP sixteen years to make fuel price N 87/litre, Kerosene at N100/litre and diesel at N115/ litre. But it took APC one year to make petrol N145/litre, kerosene at N210/litre, and diesel at N300/litre. It took PDP sixteen years to keep the price of rice at N7,000.00 per bag, but it took APC one year to project it to N18,000.00 per bag.
“ I am beginning to think that while PDP is better in administration, APC is better in opposition. That is why APC is still campaigning, blaming, promising and playing opposition party despite being the ruling party after one year.”
