LAGOS JANUARY 20TH (URHOBOTODAY)-Peoples Democratic Party Transformation Youth Forum for All Nigerians, (PDPTYAN) has berated the All Progressives Congress (APC) over its public antagonist posture towards President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration.
The Delta State Coordinator for PDPTYAN Honourable Sunday Ogheneruna Tialobi stated this while addressing newsmen recently after a meeting of the group in Warri, Delta State.
Tialobi said such criticism was borne out of selfish interest to grab power by all means, adding that the present administration has performed credibly well against APC public outcry that this administration has failed.
While assuring the national leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party of the group continuous support, it said President Jonathan had the right to seek re-election in 2015.
PDPTYAN maintained that President Jonathan should be given second chance for his administration’s transformation agenda to evenly develop the country, vowing that the group would mobilize Nigerian youths to massively vote for him.
“President Jonathan like every other Nigerian has the constitutional right to seek a second tenure. No president in the history of this country has done wonderfully well as President Jonathan.
“APC is being mischievous. For an opposition party to consistently criticize the office of Mr. President without any due cause is appalling and unwelcome”, Tialobi stated.
Also speaking, PDPTYAN Delta Central Coordinator, Comrade Clarkson Ukuwrere while commending President Jonathan for his courage and uncommon achievements since he assumed office, noted that those who are fanning ember of discord because the president is from a minority should desist forthwith.
Ukuwrere praised Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan for the unity he has brought to the PDP fold in Delta State, adding that defection of lawmakers from opposition parties in the state is a testimony to the fact that Delta is a PDP state.
Stressing that with such unity PDP would be a hard knock to opposition parties even as the group advised all youths in the country to solidly queue behind the party in the state.
